re: zeroes and ones, yeah I just didn't want something random with numbers appended. panthercat47! moosebaby439! So I just went for random numbers instead.

When I was in eighth grade, I was in an oral interpretation contest reading a short story by Neil Gaiman in which the main character's name was Ben Lassiter. At around this time, I started making accounts for my various internet personae, so variations on Lassiter and Kraken stuck. Kraken didn't stick around for too long XD.
