Okay, so my crashing problem isn't just with Firefox, since my new-fangled (and v. pretty!) Google Chrome has just crashed. Goddammit. Computers fucking hate me, I'm telling you. Also, it's doing this thing where sound still comes out the laptop speakers even though earphones are already plugged in. What's up with that? Anyone? Bueller?

Thanks to the most munificent Sir Nix, I have a Google Wave account. Let's be Gwave friends, guys! If you, too, want to be a Gwaver, comment here and I'll send you an invite, first come first serve. But apparently invites aren't gonna be sent off immediately because the Gwave mods... "have a lot of stamps to lick". So.

IN TURN, do any of you guys have an extra invite for AOOO lying around?

Speaking of archiving/journaling things you need to be invited to, is Skyhawke still a big thing? Do you guys frequent it? Has the LJ-to-Dreamwidth migration actually taken place? What are the cool haps or whatever going on in these places that LJers are not party to?

I like how shiny it all looks when posted, especially with the series feature, but the uploading itself is still a bit tedious. You cannot post without previewing first, even when you just want to change a tag, and the set of allowed HTML tags seems entirely random and unhelpful. I mean, we like to futz around with formatting in fic? Right alignment, shades of grey, that sort of thing, and I had to completely scrap that when posting a work to the archive. NOT COOL. Although possibly, if I set my mind to it, I might be able to find out how to *center* things, JFC.

...ahem. But they do reply to feedback and bug reports, so I have hope! And I like the rosy-cheeked idealism behind the whole thing, so. We'll see!

Don't you just use [/center] to center? 'Cept with ><.
