IT HAS BEEN A HELL OF WEEK. My favorite part was wandering around some caves in Tennessee and Virginia. Hey, remember the time Dean and some creature were hunting each other in the maze of caverns under Lookout Mountain? Or the time Castiel stood on the edge of the Lost Sea (a.k.a. America's largest underground lake) and thought he felt the amulet warm? CAAAAAVES <333, now probably my second favorite, after deserts. Jungles and oceans still have to duke it out for third.

Last week was also my birthday, and omg you guys. Life blessed me with be_themoon writing me us with our pilgrim hearts which is about TEAM FREE WILL: THE NEXT GENERATION. Claire, Ben, and Jesse saving people, hunting things!! I already OT3 them kinda hard, ngl. And then! More blessings in the form of roque_clasique writing Restore, which is about CLAIRE AND CAS <3. CLAIREFEST FOR MY BIRTHDAY yaaaaayyyyyy \o/ so read these wonderful fics, is what I'm saying.

Ooooh, I like Scarlett Johansson for Claire a lot, and your casting for Ben is spot-on too. I, however, would be very much a fan of Ian Somerhalder as Jesse:



He could play sarcastic, easily bored and extremely powerful very very well, I think, and he's got the good looks that I require, being shallow. (Though heeeeyyy, Jesse Bradford and Toby Maguire are quite the lookers - what have they been in? why do I not know them?)

really I think I like your first three picks best! they are all ridick pretty and I am totally getting Ben the nice kid (also damn what is it about his hair that I love so much) and Jesse the powerful kinda-arrogant-but-not-bad kid. though Ian Somerhalder also looks like a good Jesse choice.

Thank you for the fic recs! I can never get enough next generation Supernatuaral and OMG Drink up, Dreamers was beautiful.

I quite like your casting choices. Zack Gilford has the perfect face for a grown up Ben- but I'm not sure about his acting. I've only seen him in The Last Winter, and that wasn't a huge role. Has he been in something that you really love? Hrmm, I guess I should run a imdb.com search on him.

Taylor Kitsch can be one of those kids they saved from the shtriga thing who grew up and became a hunter with his brother, and they have this kind of rivalry with Team Free Will 2.0. And by 'rivalry' I do, of course, mean 'sexual tension'.
