What are the characters supposed to have been doing during that one year? Looking for Morgana I guess? What does that do to Uther? What does what it does to Uther do to Arthur? And what of Gwen and Arthur's whole THANG? What of Merlin harboring the secret of TRYING TO KILL MORGANA, WHAT. IT IS TOO MUCH TO HAVE IT BE ONE YEAR LATER. WHAT IS THIS CRAZY PACING DECISION.

I was writing the fic as angelhood=earth and earthtime=Narnia.

That is GORGEOUS. Tears in my eyes and peace in my heart, for real. I just wanted that song to go on and on and on.

Uther is beating himself up like none other, omg. As is Arthur, and they are probably sharing manly glances of sorrow but also arguing a lot. And drinking. A lot. Like, all the time. And GWEN/ARTHUR WHO KNOWS? Perhaps they are sleeping together all over the place while Merlin sulks a lot because he has angst like whoa. Perhaps they are sharing late night goblets (and by goblets I mean barrels) of wine and also longing glances all across Camelot. Maybe Merlin has told them everything and they are plotting OT3-like to go find Morgana and overthrow Uther!!! (I wish. Doubt it, though) I want it to be September NOW.

And Gabe in Narnia = love. Fun times in Calormen, fun times all through Narnia, woohoo! Narnia-world needs a Trickster so much!

Yeah I imagine Uther is working the knights down to the bone trying to find Morgana, and he's probably upped his paranoia and increased death tolls in the surrounding villages. Arthur bears the brunt of his father's insanity. Merlin and Gwen bear the brunt of Arthur. Morgana is off learning magic and making out with her half-sister. FUN TIMES FOR ALL??
