YES. YES. OH YES. OH WYRM IT MADE ME BOTH HAPPYFACE AND SADFACE TO SEE YOUR ANNA/RUBY DREAMS BECAUSE I KNEW WHAT WAS COMING. Happyface because yay Anna/Ruby! Sadface because aww S4 finale :(. This is what AUs are for, I guess XD. What happens to demons when they die? They don't just go to hell again, no? Do they just... disappear from existence? Is Ruby in some place you can only get to by wormhole?
Ruby's 'reveal' in the S4 finale made me go, "...wut," because I mean!!! I don't feel like the writers have been building to it at all! They pulled this out of nowhere! They pulled this out of their ass because apparently the fanbase hates Ruby? Or something?! Didn't you feel like the natural conclusion of this would be for Ruby to be GOOD and for Dean to realize that he should maybe stop being a judgmental asshole?
On the other hand. I guess I like that Ruby won? :-/ But I feel like this is another trick! Like how were saying Bela's trauma was pastede on yey. Ruby's victory too. Like, "okay we're gonna get rid of these chicks now, but here's a reason why they're also cool". Too little too late, show!
Sometimes I read futurefic written in S4 and it's about Sam/Ruby + Dean/Cas HEAs and it puts such sad hearts in my eyes, Wyrm, oh I wish it could be that way. Ruuuuuubyyyyyyyyyy.
