I barely understand the purpose of cable these days, it is true. I was just feeling... uninformed, I guess, about one of the biggest fandoms out there.

I don't even know that the fandom focuses that much on vessel angst? It's mostly brothercest and angelfucking, and then there are the weirdos like me and my flist who go "OMG THERE'S A PERSON IN THEM THAR ANGEL/DEMON D:".

HAHAHA, yes. A good chunk of of D/C handwaves it away by saying that Jimmy died when Cas was first killed, or makes up some similar explanation. Most don't deal with it at all. That said, it's the ship that got me into the show, so y'know.

WELCOME TO SUPERNATURAL. You got codependent incest, blasphemous dub/non-con, and for a whole season a canon ship was technically necrophilia.

I think I'd feel better if fandom embraced the inherent fucked-up-ness, rather than ignoring it, but true what expert am I in this fandom.
