The more I see of Robosam, the more I like the guy. He's been a little hit and miss for me. When I like him, I really like him, but sometimes I just don't get him and therefore ignore him. I really adore him in this episode though. IDK, maybe I just like characters who don't understand normal people. That would explain a lot.

Dean being Sam's conscience is just set-up for the thousand Wincest fics where Dean convinces Sam that brotherfucking is totally the right thing to do, right?

OH GOD THE MICROWAVE SCENE. "HA-HA!" And oh maaaaannnnn, the credits! You guys, omg, the fuzzy start-stop black&white, the FBI badges, the eye at the end! COME BACK TO ME, X-FILES, COME BAAAAACK. THIS EPISODE. Many literal LOLs were had. THE AWKWARD KNEE-SQUEEZING.

A+ ALSO TO THE SAM/PATCHOULI FALLOUT. AND HOW DEAN JUST STOOD THERE. AND GAPED. Just standing there, you know. All betrayed. No backpedaling and yelling "MY EYES!!" and slamming the door shut until Sam and Patchouli are decent. Nope! He's going to chill in the doorway, thanks, and woob hurtly at Sam. XD

I do not see or ship Wincest in the least, but how, why, what is wrong with this world that there is not already a Million +1 fics out there where Sam invites Dean to feel his feelings with this awesome chick he brought home. I think it helps that they've taken away the ~mystery of Robosam and they can play around with it a little more. I'm hoping that the next episode features Dean teaching Sam how to ~feel by pointing out the emotional cues on action films. Or Doctor Sexy.

The DING! at the end of the microwave scene really gets it. There was nothing about that scene that wasn't perfect. Perfect I tell you.

Walking Dead! There's a comm for it, you know, thefandomdead. It's pretty small (only one fanfic so far!), but tell all your friends.

I enjoyed this episode more than I thought I would! I wasn't that excited for it, but then I saw the clip a few days ago of the X-Files credits and I was like 8DDDDDDD.

OMG THE TOILET SCENE IS AMAZING. Oh Boondock Saints. idk if Boondock Saints is a movie I would recommend far and wide, because it's spectacularly gratuitous and kinda cheesy, but the gratuitousness and cheese is exactly why it's highly enjoyable. XD

Season 6 has really been the season of fic and I LOOOOVE IIIIITTT. And I am so so thrilled that we are getting reaper!Dean. LIKE. WHAT. WHAT. HOW IS SEASON 6 SO GOOD AT PUSHING MY BUTTONS?

It feels like I'm finally, finally on the same page with the show on What's Up With Sam, and also braced for any and all new information. I HAVE GOT IT TOGETHER NOW. Sam has been almost impossible for me to pin down in meta this season. I think I was an easy mark for what the show was doing on purpose -- they played to expectations about Sam&Dean and how they were, and should be, an Sam himself said he was putting on an act. I AM SO GULLIBLE.

X-Files SPN credits, still my favorite thing here, but I also did LOL at many things in this ep.

I'm not sure I am, but I'm okay with that, I guess. I just sit back and wait for him to entertain me. Inevitably he does! I'm talking to Smilla about Sam in her post, and she brings up a good point in that Sam's sociopathy is actually revealing a lot of stuff about him, in that he no longer sees the need for subterfuge. Well, he still lies, yeah, but he lies for himself, and no longer for the sake of other people. If like Sam says he's still the same guy with the same noggin who still thinks of Susie Eisman, then, well, maybe this is the only thing that changed? The only thing, but it has a lot of repercussions.

OHHHHH I AM LOVING IT. SPN has always been gimmicky and stuffed full of tropes anyway. I for one am thrilled to see them embrace it so much. GO BIG OR GO HOME. I can see why people feel like the writers just went, "Fuck it!" because in a way I feel like they did too, but my only reaction to it is glee. And now look at all the things they giving us on silver platters. It feels like mutual shout-outs, kinda. XD

Oh, I think 6x11 will bring about Sam/Balthazar fic - a pairing I've seen mentioned as Shazam.

How did Sam summon Balthazar? Was it a summoning spell or did he PRAY to him? If he prayed, then the fact Balthazar answered his prayer when Castiel never did is very interesting!

I had no idea who this Norman guy is, but the moment I saw Darryl, in the last episode, my brain zeroed on him. There's something quite upsetting about him and the actor, for the few minutes he's been onscreen, has been able to pull it off BRILLIANTLY. Now, looking at these pictures, I'm thinking that OMG my instincts are not gone yet.

Honestly, I can't tell. I think the characters are really wonderful, but the plot helps them to be even more wonderful. Maybe if you focus more on the apocalypse part than the zombies part, that might help? The zombies may be ubiquitous, but it's also really heartbreaking how they deal with the zombies.

I came to like zombies through apocalypses, and now I like them in of themselves. XD

Honestly, I am not sure if I can recommend Boondock Saints in any good faith. It is cheesy and gratuitous - and fun for it - but has some offensive segments. It was the first fandom where I felt like I really ~belonged though. Well, X2 was fun too, but it was huge, and BDS fandom was cozy.
