So then I got to wondering how the D/C works in this 'verse. It's essentially Jimmy/Cas, where the Jimmy is barely amenable to the Cas. I imagine it's a lot of Cas poking through Dean's head and Dean freaking out about it. GET OUT OF THERE, YOU HAVE NO RIGHT, he's like. Like night after night Cas comes to him to grind him down to vesselhood with celestial platitudes, subtle threats, and grand promises, and also a gentleness that Dean doesn't expect and isn't used to. The soft curls of grace across his skin and a voice that is not a voice telling him to say yes.
