omg you guys Misha Collins is gonna make so many amazing faces this season. DO YOU THINK IT WILL NECESSITATE A COSTUME CHANGE? Are the leviathan gonna look at his outfit and be like, "OH NO NO NO, THIS WON'T DO. SIMPLY UNFIT FOR ELDER GODS." So off he goes to like loot Gucci or whatever and comes out all looking flyyyyy and it's like that S6 promo shot, WHAT IF???
On a more serious note (OR LESS SERIOUS NOTE, SINCE WHAT CAN GET MORE SERIOUS THAN AN ELDER GOD'S WARDROBE??), I like the callback to binding Death in 5x10. SPN characters are always having the abyss looking at them, ya? You make them become the very thing they are trying to escape or save the world from. The 'good side' and the 'bad side' are always echoing each other.
MEANWHILE AT THE NOVAKS'. AMELIA AND CLAIRE WATCHING THE TV. WATCHING ALL THE MIRACLES AND DISASTERS. WHAT EVEN ARE THEIR FEELINGS??
"It's him," Claire says all breathless, and at the same time, Amelia just kind of rasps out, "It's not him."
AND IS CLAIRE LIKE, "I TOLD YOU, I TOLD YOU HE'S NOT GONE, I TOLD YOU HE'D COME BACK," AND AMELIA SAYS, "CLAIRE, NO."
DOES CLAIRE SNEAK AWAY IN THE DEAD OF NIGHT TO TRACK HIM DOWN? She leaves behind her cross and her bible because he said on the news there's a new god and she believes him, and she will receive her blessing from him. Amelia comes into her room the next morning to wake her up and all she sees is newspaper clippings about acts of god and Jimmy's face all over them.
I BEEN SAYING THIS ALL SUMMER BUT WHAT IF CLAIRE IS THE YELLOW CRAYON GONNA GET JIMMY OUT OF THERE??
But back to THE LEVIATHAAAAAN 'cos when he was romping around there, all I could think about was how I'm pretty sure I've seen him make those faces before in, like, con photos and publicity reels. As Cally pointed out, THAT'S THE FACE HE MAKES WHEN HE'S IMITATING HIS INFANT. The longer this dude in the trenchcoat sticks around on the show, the more he acts like Misha Collins, basically. MISHA IS CANON. AGAIN.
Also I want the fic where it's just the newspaper articles and transcripts of the shit Godstiel did around the world. Shitloads of outsider POV about that.
Also the one where despite Godstiel saying YOU BETTER HOPE YOU DON'T SEE ME AGAIN, Dean/Sam keep seeing Cas around during the following weeks anyway. OR ARE THEY? Is Sam just hallucinating and Dean just paranoid? WHO KNOWS. EVERYTHING IS VAGUELY SEXY AND EMOTIONALLY HORRIFYING.
Can Sam/Lucifer be a thing now? I had been waiting for it to take off in S5 but it kind of never did, but MR. PELLEGRINO IS BACK, YO, MENACING SAM IN HIS HELLUCINATIONS. Or is he ~real~? Are you also getting a vibe like Dean:Alastair :: Sam:Lucifer?
OH, AND THE OTHER FIC I WANT is like, remember when I was babbling about Michael and Lucifer playing I Spy in the Cage to pass the time? That fic, except it's Jimmy and Cas inside a leviathan. Maybe something like this? Something with Jimmy and Cas being bitter and resentful at each other.
