I've been wibbling back and forth about whether or not I should post this because omg this is not my usual fannish medium, and omg my voice on the internets, and omg if we only had more time, we could do better. But we didn't have more time, and we were trying our damndest to finish this before I had to leave the country, so, y'know. This is what we have.

Basically my boyfriend is building a home studio and he was like, "Do you wanna record any of your songs?" and I was like, "What about this one?" So he listened to me sing it and asked, "...Is this about Supernatural?" He's so smart, you guys.

So! This is my belated 5x22 reaction post. EXCUSE ME WHILE I SING ABOUT MY FEELINGS. Well, Dean's feelings. I can't stress how important my boyfriend was to making this recording happen. I may have written the song, but he was invaluable with his input and his mysterious superpower of getting his various machines to do what I want them to. That's him playing the guitar solo at the end.

He also said I can name our band whatever I want.

...this is ridiculously amazing, how are you even real. I MEAN THE BASS LINE ALONE. I've already listened to this ten times, it's so cool! So dark and moody and perfect for the show. And Supernatural is extremely musically oriented, too, so this is extra wonderful. Fan songs are one of those things one is frequently dubious of but this is REALLY GOOD and well-made and excellent.

Oh wow, thank you very much! I haven't actually heard many fansongs (or any, I think) so I had no idea of that scene. It was still a little nerve-wracking to go into the medium though, haha. Really glad you liked it!

Listening to it is so much better than reading the lyrics, which was pretty incredible in itself.

It's really special, talented, beautiful, gorgeous, and other such adjectives played on loop.
