I have a habit of linking to things that suck the life out of your childhood.

I'm having a car crash moment. Sometimes I remind myself of the person who goes to disaster sites bringing their Handycams, filming the shitstorm and engaging in minor looting.

Furthermore, your childhood means nothing to me.

Blue's Clues incestuous bondage fic: Stripes by Elektra. Steve/Joe, NC17 (more of a high R), short and not so sweet.
"There's a bark of concern at the door, but Blue doesn't come in. She's a good puppy, and always waits for Steve to open the door first."

Ahahahahahahaha.

*decloaks*

Thought I would drop by to say that I first found out about The Boondock Saints while I was lurking around your LJ (in a totally non-sinister 'lead-me-to-the-slashy-hotness' kind of way).
I'd never seen the film and usually I will not touch slash until I've touched base with canon but the BDS fic was so appealing, I made do with checking out the movie website to get a handle on character IDs and then dove in.
Well, I finally got to see the movie last night. Oh yeah. Still coming to grips with the fact that the 'iron' scene is the hottest thing I've seen in a long time. Ahem.
Anyway, thanks for (unknowingly) leading me there. :-)

Hello :)

I'm flattered, man. Diving into a fic canonless? Heh. Cool. I'm glad you ended up liking the fic, that's awesome to hear. And I totally agree with you about that ironing scene. *fixes 'I support character torture' badge*
And also, you're welcome.

As has been asserted elsewhere: Fandom rocks!
BTW - your icon reminded me - you led me to the Fight Club throw-down too. Also a canonless expedition. Finally watched it last week.
So tell me - when you woke up this morning, did you realise you were a person of such influence? ;-)
Thanks again!

Haha!
That must have been a trip, though, going into Fight Club fic canonless? How was that? 'Cos the Fight Club canon is so weird and different, and if I had gone into FC fic canonless, I would have been confused out of my head. I would have been like, "Tyler is what?"

Weird yeah.
I have to confess I just assumed that Brad Pitt's character died in the film so that when Ed Norton still spookily sees him around even though he's gone it's just, y'know, the haunting of an old passion.
All my love for FC though goes to the scene where AngelFace gets pulped. Not so much for the pulping ('cos Jared was bringing plenty of pretty) but for the few seconds of the wider shot where we see real!Tyler straddling AF's upper body, AF's mouth open in a gasp........you know what I'm saying.........
What is it with the if-you-can't-fuck-it-beat-the-shit-out-of-it brigade? If people gave into their repressed homosexuality a bit more, there'd be less violence in the world.
Hmm. Maybe I should lobby to get that proposed as a resolution at the United Nations...............

<3. It's funny 'cos it's true. It's my favorite brand of slashy chemistry, though. Tension, y'know? Where it's not sex per se, but it's so visceral that it might as well be. Delicious and enthralling.
