A rec, some icons, and a rambling thought. Hell, they're all rambling thoughts.

I'll be keeping my eye on [livejournal.com profile] troy_rps in weeks to come. On a side note, Eric Bana/Orlando Bloom is apparently the new Monaboyd.

Anyway.

Icons. I'm going through an icon-making thing. I've been making icons. Do you want to see my icons? They are Boondock Saints icons. Yes. I managed to make 4 that I was happy with before I ran out of steam.

1) *2) 3) 4)

*Lyric from Alison Krauss's "You Will Be My Ain True Love".

I'd use these icons myself but eh, no space. So I'll share! 'Cos I care. If you want any of them then by all means, by all means. It'd be nice if you tell me which one you're taking, but all I really ask is that you credit me, is all.

Also thinking of redesigning my layout. Align the text boxes to one side, add a background graphic, stuff like that. Maybe a Boondock Saints theme, or something generally multifandom. Requiem For A Dream, maybe, because although I'll probably never write fic for it, I've got some pretty Requiem graphics that I've been wanting to put to use. Hmm. Suggestions?

I read this and thought you meant Troy Duffy. LOL. Needless to say I was all WTF???

Nice icons. I like seeing more unusual BDS icons. I love the one you posted with though.

I'm just in it for the swords and leather man-skirts. Okay, and Brad Pitt. What, stop looking at me like that.

Heh. Y'know, I don't even know what Troy Duffy looks like.

Nice icons. I like seeing more unusual BDS icons.
Thanks!

Well, yeah. :P It's like highlander meets... meets.. um.. oh never mind.

At the risk of upsetting your brain cells I feel drawn to share this picture (http://www.twinklesandstarlight.com/norman/troynorman.jpg) with you. Yep. That's Troy and Norman.

[identity profile] twoskeletons.livejournal.com 2004-03-24 06:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Heeeeeeeehehehe, I like Norman in that one. And, no upset brain cells here. Sure Troy's not stunningly handsome, but he's not stunningly ugly either, I'd say. Either way, I'm still not feeling the Troy Duffy RPS, so I think I shall continue to give that a miss...

[identity profile] twoskeletons.livejournal.com 2004-03-24 06:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Woah, your icon and that icon have the same font, or something.
*scrutinizes...*
Or not.

[identity profile] goodtwin.livejournal.com 2004-03-24 07:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Hahahaha. The Smecker ones are great! :D They're all ace.

[identity profile] twoskeletons.livejournal.com 2004-03-24 07:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks, man. :)

[identity profile] littlestclouds.livejournal.com 2004-03-24 07:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Oooh, what font did you use in your 'holier than thou' icon? :D That's too cool.

[identity profile] twoskeletons.livejournal.com 2004-03-24 07:31 pm (UTC)(link)
It's called Freebooter Script.
And Verdana.
Heh.
:)

[identity profile] littlestclouds.livejournal.com 2004-03-24 07:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Lol. Thanks :D

[personal profile] yabamena 2004-03-24 08:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Heh. Why do I suddenly want an icon that reads "BanaBloom, baby!"

I'm a dork, yes.

And because I am someone stupid who cannot spell correctly the first time...

[identity profile] twoskeletons.livejournal.com 2004-03-24 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
No, no no no. You're wrong.

The word you're looking for, friend, is [livejournal.com profile] banalando.

Such is life.
yabamena: ([david] wrong pantheon.)

*just realizes* You Will Be My Ain True Love! *<3s that song*

[personal profile] yabamena 2004-03-25 04:26 am (UTC)(link)
*snickers. watches comm* I still think BanaBloom sounds better. But maybe that's just the New Yorker in me.

[identity profile] twoskeletons.livejournal.com 2004-03-25 11:43 am (UTC)(link)
"Banalalalalalalalalalando! Banalalalalalalalalando!"

I'd like to see BanaBloom have a cooler theme song than that.

[identity profile] arseaboutface.livejournal.com 2004-03-24 09:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Excellent! I'm snitching 3, and will of course credit. 'Tis most humoous.

[identity profile] goodbyemyfancy.livejournal.com 2004-03-24 11:16 pm (UTC)(link)
I think the community LOVES #3 :) I sure do!!

[identity profile] twoskeletons.livejournal.com 2004-03-24 11:18 pm (UTC)(link)
I guess. And thanks.

[identity profile] tierdxiez.livejournal.com 2004-03-25 12:06 am (UTC)(link)
Wow those are awesome icons! I love em :) And I'm saving 1 and 2 and will credit of course. <3

[identity profile] twoskeletons.livejournal.com 2004-03-25 11:39 am (UTC)(link)
Thank you! Cool. :)

[identity profile] ex-presspass682.livejournal.com 2004-03-25 06:20 am (UTC)(link)
I vote for the Boondock Saints theme, personally- I do enjoy that movie. I'm not a huge fan of Requiem, although I own it; I think it was just too intense visually for me. *shrugs*

snagging 2 - great lyric choice, by the way :) and I'll credit when I use it.

[identity profile] twoskeletons.livejournal.com 2004-03-25 11:44 am (UTC)(link)
It's a beautiful song.

Awesome, thanks. :D

Fandom still rocks

On a side note, Eric Bana/Orlando Bloom is apparently the new Monaboyd.

Heh. I love watching a new fandom spring to life.
Personally, I think I'll refrain from delving into the Troy R/FPS til after seeing the movie. Want to get my fill of Hot Greek Orlando so can be fully appreciative of the fic.

the first rule of starting a ten-year war is..

[identity profile] twoskeletons.livejournal.com 2004-03-27 04:54 am (UTC)(link)
Orlaaaandooooo. Ooh, you're one of those. I never did get the elf love. Hmm. Me, I'm from the Brad Pitt faction.

Re: the first rule of starting a ten-year war is..

[identity profile] juniper-nyne.livejournal.com 2004-03-27 06:18 pm (UTC)(link)
*owns up happily*
The elf-love was simply an appetiser for the RL real deal. It's a Pavlovian reflex:
1. I see Mr.Bloom
2. I want to tie him down and lick him
He brings teh pretty, he can't help it........

[identity profile] twoskeletons.livejournal.com 2004-03-28 02:22 am (UTC)(link)
Ahaha. This movie's going to be so chock full of pretty you won't be able to choose.

Not that this is a bad thing, mind.

Stole 3 and 4. But don't worry, credit shall be given where credit is due. Awesome job!
