Answer: C. If Cas had given the box cutter to either of the boys, the other would've gotten all pissy and jealous at missing the chance to touch naked angel chest, and with the tension already between them, it surely would've ended in a fight. No, to keep them from beating on each other, Cas carved it himself. Sam and Dean held a mirror for him, jointly, and ogled.
