I LOVE LISA. I must say I love how Lisa's handling the whole situation; sure, she'd like for Dean to stay, but at the same time she recognizes that Dean's going to always have a split mind over staying vs. hunting till he gets things sorted out. She sees things so very clearly, and that's refreshing when compared to most of the other characters who've appeared so far, who are 1) fucked up, or 2) really really shady.

ngl, I also went flaily when the Impala appeared. 6x01 and 6x02 have made me really like Dean/Lisa but NOTHING EVER BEATS DEAN/IMPALA NOTHING >DDDDD.

The prospect of 6x03 makes me :D.

And was it just me or did nobody really seem that upset when (?)Mark died? There was like, two seconds of reaction shot and then afterwards, nothing. Heartless bitches. I guess I'm just hating on Campbells because of their weird high-security hideout and connection to Sam's Batmobile. I did like Christian's comment about Dean majoring in torture. Niiiiiice.

AS IS SHOW'S HABIT, they don't linger on anyone's reaction too long if they aren't Sam or Dean. I assume the Campbells mourn their dead, it's just that the camera doesn't care if they do. Not that I think the Campbells would be suuuper-emotional about it, but it is obvious they have a bond between them and I think to lose one of their own would be a big blow.

I do agree about Lisa and wish we'd have more of her but fear we won't and can't help but blame that on the typical fandom reaction to any woman character and any woman who dares get her ladyparts near Dean. SIIIIGH. They've been burned so many times with the fandom reaction it feels very much like they're intentionally truncating her screentime. PARANOIA, I HAS IT.

But I love her so much anyway. I love the idea of her making stupid decisions because that's the SPN way. I also love the converse idea at the same time, that she's just secure in herself and doesn't need Dean around all the time so she's fine with him coming and going. I would be perfectly happy with either.I am easily pleased.

I loved her and Ben since 3x02, and I'm glad the writers are writing her just as I always imagined her to be - unlike poor Ben, whom they've turned into a lot less interesting character compared to 3x02. His relationship with Dean has suffered also - they were great in 3x02 and I was looking forward to more of the same, but... :/

Still, for me it's very easy to figure out what drives Lisa's actions, because she operates on the principles of "unconditional love" - which is also why she didn't shut her door on Dean's face back in 5x17. I've been expecting everything she did and said. Her personality is difficult to understand for our "couple-oriented" society, but for single moms by choice she's "one of us". She raised her son alone for over 10 years, she's an individualistic woman, she doesn't NEED Dean around to keep her going. But she LOVES Dean, so she WANTS him around. Yet, seeing what staying away from hunting does to Dean, she can act in all honesty like a sailor's wife and accept that his love for the sea comes first. But he'll always come back to her. (I hope so, at least! :))

Also, very much looking forward to CASTIEL's RETURN and his interactions with Dean!!!!! XDDDDD
