The season 7 I never knew I wanted. Oh but see now I want a story about Sam realizing that he's gonna have to take care of the real Jared. Cue Jared meeting Sam and piano wire in a dark alley at night! And then Sam, who is GOOD AT RESEARCH OR SO I HEAR, has researched all the Jared facts he can and slips into Jared's life second skin. Far from an easy transition, but Sam expected that. The alpaca refuses to go anywhere near him, sensing a shift. It spits on him often. But on the other hand, when Sam slips up and calls Gen Ruby in bed, she just laughs.

I don't think Cas will be the unexpected death! I've been thinking Lisa and Ben for a while after learning that they'll be back (YAY!), but then after a more careful consideration, maybe it's Dean and Sam who will have to BOTH die this time, this mostly based on the talk about natural order they have disrupted by being alive. I would be so okay with it - especially if there's a season 7.

Cas will either lose all his power or give it up and decide to live on earth because you know that it's what I think Cas will want to do after he pacifies heaven.

The 'new beginning' comment is confusing me because it could mean so many things: the season was a dream/hallucination? They are able to go back in a place where certain things haven't happened? TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK while I stare some more at that .gif.

Idk, I tend not to put any stock in these things, we're down to three main characters (four if you count Bobby, I suppose), and they've all died before, and it's hard to take seriously that they may die again, like, okay, whatever, show. They may be pulling a ridiculous and killing of Lisa and Ben instead, for maximum angst value, but those are the only two characters I think I would assume would *stay* dead. Bobby the mentor/father figure is narratively in danger but I just have a hard time worrying about him.

We're still meant to meet Rachel the angel, right? She may die off too, the way Jo & Ellen were killed to showcase the realness of the apocalypse.

No, you see, I mean, yes, Castiel will die, but then he'll come back in the body of a woman and Dean will fall HARD, or rather, realize that he'd already fallen hard and just hadn't had the guts to consummate anything, a situation that will be rectified "right quick", as the British say, after what seems to Dean like a hellishly long internal freakout but is approximately 0.03 seconds in real life. Also, Castiel!boobs are awesome, and will quickly replace Coors as Dean's favorite drug of choice.
