Being that I haven't been active on LJ/DW for a while, I also haven't been posting my new fics here. Well, here is a compilation of fics I've written since the last time I posted here about a fic I wrote!

I have not yet had the time to post my thoughts on the past two SPN episodes but I LOVE THEM. I LOVE THIS SEASON, and it deserves more flailing and narrative speculation than I've been giving it because NAOMI and KEVIN'S DESERT and of course THE INDOMITABLE CHARLIE BRADBURY, oh god. I have so much ahfjlaksjfsld at Naomi and the golden spiral of miracles that bloom outwards from an angel's suffering.

THE ONLY THING IT NEEDS NOW IS MEG.

I wrote two fics, both of them for challenges. One was for deancas_xmas and the other for stop_drop_howl, which is the Teen Wolf equivalent of salt_burn_porn. YES, I TEEN WOLF NOW, and it's Allison/Lydia, in keeping with my resolution to write more femslash this year.

Erica's pre-werewolf life is so wonderfully drawn, and I am all wibbly over her relationship with her family and especially her mother. This fic fleshes out Erica's inner life so beautifully.

This is my DCSS gift, and it is delightfully creepy and ominous. Santa knows me well. When it comes to this song, I usually think of Castiel having the red right hand, but this vid wonders what if they both have red right hands?


In other news, I've been unable to stop puking rainbows and puppies ever since I watched the SPN 8x10 webclip. Next week is so far awaaaay.

uuugh I totally should've written my Skyfall reaction post sooner after I watched it, I had a lot of feelings, now most of the feelings I have left are about how it can be turned into a Dean/Cas AU. I REALLY ENJOYED SKYFALL. I saw a review describe it as "it's to James Bond what The Dark Knight is to Batman" and I concur, and that's probably one of the bigger reasons I love it, a James Bond in a post-Bond world. Also aaaaugh so many Bond&M feelings. I WILL TOTALLY WRITE THIS REACTION POST.

But right now, I'm having reactions to SPN 8x07.

All but one scene in this fic began as comment/tumblrfic. Never let it be said that I am unenableable. I don't think anybody has ever said that, mostly because it's not a word.

Negative Space

Every so often he can see the story wander close to something more complex, and Dean hastily shepherds it in the other direction.

For now, WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT KEVIN. Apologies if you've seen this before. I'm reposting for purposes of archival and possible further ramblings. Don't get me wrong, I love the Kevin we have now, and my heart shatters rainbowly at how badass being on his own has forced him to become, but ( I still wonder how things could’ve gone down if Sam had answered Kevin’s calls. )

After a few months' break from fic-writing, I'm back with some croatverse. idk, croatverse just makes me feel happy, like a security blanket made of pain, though there's somehow less of that this time around.

5x04-verse. "Cas is murmuring something that Dean can't quite make out, so he just focuses on the hypnotizing mercy of a gentle touch. It's not something Dean wants to ask for. The apocalypse asks too much of everyone already, but Cas responds to Dean in predictable ways."
