I used to have a superappropriate icon for this. It's still in the Photobucket though, so here we go:
I HAVE NEVER WANTED TO UNDERSTAND GERMAN SO BADLY IN MY LIFE
I may have mentioned this once or ten times, but I am a huuuUUUUUuuge fan of Donald Duck and his clan. My heart goes out to him every time the world makes him the buttmonkey, and I cheer every time they let him be awesome. At the tender age of 18, my boyfriend's first big gift to me was stuffed plushies of Donald Duck's various incarnations throughout the years. He knows the way to my heart. The idea of this more erudite Donald Duck who quotes German literature and is a mouthpiece for political criticism is SO HAPPIFYING, I cannot even fjklda;kfs'd

Last month the fan group D.O.N.A.L.D (the German acronym stands for “German Organization for Non-commercial Followers of Pure Donaldism”), hosted its 32nd annual congress at the Museum of Natural History in Stuttgart, with trivia and trinkets galore, along with lectures devoted to “nephew studies” and Duckburg’s solar system.hfdlsakf;js;ds ZOMG. and NEPHEW STUDIES.
