For the rest of you playing along at home, Infernal Affairs is the Hong Kong film that Scorsese's The Departed was based on, and Andrea has been enabling my FEELINGS on it, omg the feelings, so really this fic is kind of inevitable. It was either this or Misha Collins/Tony Leung set in the same 'verse as Nothing Up My Sleeve... which may still happen, actually.
Anyway, this fic takes place before Infernal Affairs and also during Cas's post-5x16 bender. He drank liquor stores across time and space, okay, so why not in Hong Kong in 2002? The fic's one-song soundtrack is "Easy Muffin" by Amon Tobin.
