Hey flist, there are a couple of TV shows that look awesome and maybe I need to download them. What are your thoughts on: Waterloo Road, The Tribe.

In other news, [livejournal.com profile] likecharity's prompt was 'Peter/Susan/Edmund'.

Slightly different from the version I posted on the meme. I cut some things out, added some things in, and here it is.

Chronicles of Narnia. Susan/Peter/Edmund. PG13. Warning: incest.
Set years after PC but before that thing. "There is a difference between forgetting who you are and forgetting what you do."
ETA: Now with bonus missing scene.

Do you like the scifi/fantasy? Free e-books from Tor! Available only until July 27. Let me share with you which ones I got! )

Someone posted a link to the German premiere of Die Chroniken von Narnia: Prinz Kaspian von Narnia and it is bizarre. The ground opens up and out gallops a MAN ON FIRE on a horse. He runs around the arena, being ON FIRE, and then he runs offstage for some reason. Presumably because he is ON FIRE. I DO NOT KNOW. Then scores of knights appear and they all fight each other, um, to the death? I'm unclear as to why. They all just die, including the horses. They have trained the horses to lie down on the ground in a death-like position. I DO NOT KNOW. MOVING ON.

I don't usually do Narnia RPF, but I've been smoking some crack, so it's alright, and this is only half RPF anyway. Title is from the Explosions In The Sky song of the same name.

remember me as a time of day
Chronicles of Narnia. Anna Popplewell/Susan Pevensie, Anna Popplewell/Will Moseley, implied Will Moseley/Peter Pevensie and EVERY OTHER COMBINATION. Rated PG13 for implicit sex and explicit crack.
In which there are dreams.

I wrote all of "Hidden Pictures' in the space of a few days. It is the fic that threw off my sleep schedule, and maybe it won't surprise you to know that the scene with Peter and the Gryphon was written at 4 AM when there was more caffeine than blood in my system. I wonder sometimes whether I should've posted 'Hidden Pictures' all up in one go instead of doing this serial business but EH WELL. TOO LATE. For it is the end! Title is from 'Different Ways To Pray' by Naomi Shihab Nye.

they would bend to kiss the earth/and return, their lean faces housing mystery.
Chronicles of Narnia. PG. Peter, Susan, & Edmund. Thank you to [livejournal.com profile] boogalooed, [livejournal.com profile] girlgroovy3, and [livejournal.com profile] bantha_fodder, for what you do.
Post-PC. Peter's return to England, the second time around.

There's less forgetting to be done. )

Warning! Spoilers for C.S. Lewis's The Last Battle EVERYWHERE.

This is my trope. This fic was almost a Harry Potter crossover because I wanted to splice that trope with a permutation of the I Wish It Were Real trope. Thank god that didn't work out! And then I was going to have Edmund and Caspian wander around Aslan's Country's various afterlifes in a sort of crossover extravaganza, but then Mr. and Mrs. Pevensie -- who were only supposed to be there for a scene or two -- kind of stole the show.

Hereafter
Chronicles of Narnia. PG. Edmund, Caspian, and the Pevensie parents, and Susan, at the edges. Big heaping thanks to [livejournal.com profile] alice_pike and a flower for [livejournal.com profile] bantha_fodder.
Edmund and Caspian set out to explore Aslan's Country, and get sidetracked.

Edmund knife-fights naked! Peter almost knife-fights naked (but Edmund pwns him before he gets the chance)! Incest of the R-rated variety! And DEAD PEOPLE. (Not all in one fic.) COMING SOON.

NOW SHOWING. Susan and Caspian having sex.

Don't forget to visit our concession stand!

And do not learn from/Experience.
Narnia movieverse. Caspian/Susan. R. The title is from the poem 'Do Not Accept' by Yehuda Amichai. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] girlgroovy3 and [livejournal.com profile] boogalooed for the beta. Spot the Gaiman reference and win a cookie!
After the battle at Aslan's How.

After the battle, after gathering the fallen, after the flagons of wine are distributed, Caspian follows Susan to the river. )

Much thanks to [livejournal.com profile] boogalooed's encouragement and [livejournal.com profile] girlgroovy3's firm hand. Unlike CS Lewis, Disney, and Walden Media, I neither own nor have any rights to the Chronicles of Narnia. The title is from the poem 'Two Countries' by Naomi Shihab Nye.

feather lost from the tail/of a bird
Chronicles of Narnia. Ensemble. Caspian/Susan. PG.
The lines tangle between Peter and Caspian. Four missing scenes: archery practice, Lucy left behind at the How, flying to the castle, and the aftermath of Jadis.

The silence is awkward, but their glares are proud. )

The chapter headers are from, respectively, 'The Small Vases from Hebron' and 'Late August Hours Before the Year 2000' by Naomi Shihab Nye. Much thanks to [livejournal.com profile] boogalooed for the beta.

Hidden Pictures
Chronicles of Narnia. PG.
Two drabbles set during the beginning of Prince Caspian: one from Lucy, and one from Trumpkin.

'The Magnificent,' he adds, and Lucy giggles but her heart aches for him all the same. )

I watched it a second time and my brain ralphed all over the place. ) And, a second viewing also lets me see that, Lucy aside, it is Peter who misses Narnia most. Not for the same reasons though, and that's really what spurred this fic.

The last time I wrote this much in a single night, it counted for academic credit and was due the next day. Save for this prologue (which takes place before Prince Caspian), the fics are missing scenes from the movie. The forthcoming numbered chapters are only there for the sake of chronology -- 'Hidden Pictures' can be read as an anthology of one-shots that stand alone.

This chapter borrows from the apparently much-beloved "Pevensie takes up fencing but it ISN'T THE SAME" trope. The chapter title is from the poem 'Do Not Accept' by the enormously talented Yehuda Amichai.

Hidden Pictures
Chronicles of Narnia. PG.
Set some time between returning and returning yet again.

Peter’s fist connects with the boy’s face and the sound of it isn’t nearly as loud as he wants it to be. )
