Dec. 11th, 2009 05:42 amHave you guys ever had a virus that refuses to let a laptop shut down? How about one that, when you click on a Google search result, takes you to an ad instead of the site? This just happens in Google, though. You end up having to copy the search result URL and pasting it into the address bar. The search results from other search engines click fine. So anyway, neither your malware scanner nor your regular virus scan can detect this virus, and you suspiciously can't install Windows Defender. And sometimes tabs would just open randomly with more ads.

The 3-sentence ficathon now has a delicious directory! And it's still going on and on and on! Narnia appears to be the most popular fandom by far, followed by... crossover, and then by STXI and Dr. Who. COME PLAY. Add more fandoms!

More than once now I have almost sent emails to my thesis advisor with, like, "love, [high school nickname]", or to a potential employer with "cheers, Lassiter", or to my professor with "love you, [boyfriend's pet name for me]". What is this, the revenge of my compartmentalized personae? One day this is going to happen, and it's going to be terrible and hilarious. D:

bedlamsbard and I were gratuitously cracking out on, and it's ending up as like I don't even know. I tried rephrasing the end of the previous sentence a few times and, like, yeah. I don't even know. Then when the O11 movie plotline ended, it became an Ocean's 11 crossover, and we get things like ( Susan/Tess ) and ( Rusty/Edmund ). Then we get backstory about how the Pevensies have been a transient band of con artists (warning: incestuous con artists) since their teens, and then there is Trouble with the mafia. So while Susan, Lucy, and Caspian take care of business in New York, Peter and Edmund are currently in hiding in the Philippines under the aegis of expatriate tycoon Lune and his party-hearty son Corin, as my thinly veiled excuse to ( wax poetic about Manila ). We still refer to it as the O11 AU but at this point that's probably a misnomer.
As of yesterday, this monstrosity of a thread has pushed the post to be the post with the most number of comments on my LJ. Longer than OT3verse, longer still than the one that started out as Narnia/Stardust and changed gears into Last Battle revisionism (okay so that one isn't actually on my LJ). It even has a horizontal scrollbar. And god have mercy, it is not over.
It's mostly R-rated&lower except for a blip of Peter/Susan somewhere in the middle, as well as the most recent bits due to this exchange--

So I kicked Jordan Catalano out of the round-up, but I reckon that maybe he, or at least some incarnation of the show, might be making a comeback once I get with the MS-CL fic.
