So tonight my boyfriend's mom was like, "Hey, so I was talking to the English teacher at my school and I told her about you and your fanfiction thing. She thinks that might be an interesting assignment for her class. Do you have fanfic websites you can show her so she can have a better idea of what it is?"

Also, I am officially all caught up on the new 'Friday Night Lights' and suffice to say my reaction has consisted mainly of this: EEEEEEEEE MAAAAAAAAAAATT LANDRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY JULIIIIIIIIEEEE TAAAAAAMIIIIII DEVONNNNNNNNN. I dunno about this chick's crush on Tim though. Bleh. WE'LL SEE. I'M WILLING TO BE CONVINCED.

Anyway. I've been reading some meta on how to remix a fic, and it seems people mean 'cover'. So I hope I'm not DOING IT WRONG, 'cos I think I'm actually remixing. I'm writing like the extended trance mix of a rock ballad? Or whatever? It's like I'm writing a fic of a fic.
Thing that is better than you: this Katie McGrath picspam. DEAR MS. MCGRATH, HOW ARE YOU POSSIBLE. The picspam led me to looking through pictures of Series 2 filming on a Katie McGrath fansite and omg Gwen can has new dress! Yaaayyyyy.
Not Exactly An Epistolary Romance is a post-2nd series Tony/Effy fic, R-rated, and hfdjshfksjd AWESOME. If I didn't already ship them (...surprise?), this fic would make me ship them the way this fic made me ship Peter/Susan. But luckily, I already know how awesome Tony/Effy is, so reading this fic was like exclamations of "YES EXACTLY!!" and "BEAUTIFUL!!" every five seconds. Soooooo, warning: incest. :D?

'Pineapple Express' is the gayest thing I've seen since 'Merlin', holy shit. My heart swelled ten thousand times and I nearly peed my pants laughing. Bromance is the new black and Seth Rogen is its unlikely poster child. Is there Pineapple Express fic?!
