IT HAS BEEN A HELL OF WEEK. My favorite part was wandering around some caves in Tennessee and Virginia. Hey, remember the time Dean and some creature were hunting each other in the maze of caverns under Lookout Mountain? Or the time Castiel stood on the edge of the Lost Sea (a.k.a. America's largest underground lake) and thought he felt the amulet warm? CAAAAAVES <333, now probably my second favorite, after deserts. Jungles and oceans still have to duke it out for third.

Last week was also my birthday, and omg you guys. Life blessed me with be_themoon writing me us with our pilgrim hearts which is about TEAM FREE WILL: THE NEXT GENERATION. Claire, Ben, and Jesse saving people, hunting things!! I already OT3 them kinda hard, ngl. And then! More blessings in the form of roque_clasique writing Restore, which is about CLAIRE AND CAS <3. Plot Bunny #479743: Reincarnation fic about Will and old man Simmons, where what happens in each life is that Simmons tries to catch him but Will always escapes. Simmons will never catch Will despite his neverending efforts, but we must assume Sisyphus is happy. Will is like the Road Runner to Simmons's Coyote. The Peter Pan to Simmons's Hook? The Jerry to his Tom? It is a little tragic and a little absurd, but in a way it is all either of them really need. It is perhaps not a hunt, but a ritual. Maybe in one life, Will and Simmons can be allowed a moment to meet over coffee or whatever, but in the end the chase must continue, as it always has before.

#1 - IN WHICH THERE IS A CONFESSION. When I started seeing the name Britomart around, I thought it was some sort of British convenience store or supermarket, and I thought, "Oh, maybe they are writing a crackfic AU! Perhaps a 'Clerks' fusion!"

#2 - IN WHICH I AM PERHAPS BEYOND HELP. So I was replying my way through a backlog of comments and I felt guilty for ignoring them for this long, but then I check the date on them and it's only been 5 days. It felt like longer. Going on the internet is like spending your time in an enchanted otherworld where you can shape things to your will and magical things happen everywhere, but then you go back to the real world (so-called) and find out that nothing's changed since you last left. Time in the other world is not like time in this world, and it's like all that stuff in the other world amounts to nothing here. But no, that can't be true, you tell yourself that can't be true.

So I guess that makes Aslan the dormitory's internet connection, because he is sometimes great and sometimes painful.
